Brain Training Through Our Lens

About the Program

In BrainClub we utilize the BrainRx method, the most well proved brain trainings in the world. BrainRx is based on one of the most important studies of intelligence, the Cattell–Horn–Carroll study, which states that thinking consists of 7 basic cognitive skills: attention, information processing speed, working memory, long-term memory, logic and decision-making, auditory information processing, and visual information processing. This method was developed in the USA in 1985 by Dr. Ken Gibson.

Pillars
of our Programs

Individual Plans

Each plan is customized to meet the unique needs of our clients. This personalized approach effectively targets the right skills during training.

One-on-One

For brain training to work, learners need direction and motivation from a dedicated brain trainer. In our program each client gets the attention they need.

Intensity

Brain training should be challenging, but not overwhelming. Our training sessions are designed as a true mental workout, with exercises matched to the learner’s existing skill level.

Repetition + Practice

Building new brain skills takes time, dedication, and practice. To make significant gains, learners need to practice multiple times a week, and training must be sustained for several weeks.

Step-by-Step

Cognitive skills need to be developed step-by-step. At LearningRx, we start by building a strong foundation of core skills. Once this foundation is in place, learners work their way up to more complex exercises.

Multitask Activities

As learners advance, we introduce exercises that use multiple skills at the same time. This helps new skills become more automatic and intuitive, and it helps the brain build strong internal connections.

Positive Reinforcement

Brain training can be fun, but it’s not always easy. Our brain trainers offer immediate feedback and encouragement during training sessions, helping learners stay energized, motivated, and confident!

Cognitive Skills Supported

Attention

It is a skill that allows you to focus on a specific task for a certain period of time.

Information Processing

This is a skill that shows how quickly the brain receives and understands incoming information.

Long Term Memory

This is a skill needed to retrain and store information so that it can be applied in the future.

Logic and Solutions

This is a skill that includes the ability to think critically, analyze information, and find solution to complex problems.

Auditory Information Processing

This is a skill responsible for how information received through sound and reading is understood and assimilated.

Visual Information Processing

This is a skill responsible for understanding and absorbing imagery information and the ability to evoke images in the subconscious (visualization).

Working Memory

This is a skill that is only responsible for a certain period of time required to complete a task.

About the Research

The BrainRX program is developed by Dr. Ken Gibson on a long proven methods backed by research. Since 2014, the Gibson Institute of Cognitive Research was established to conduct empirical research on cognitive training programs and assessments. Findings are published and presented in peer-reviewed journals and conferences for the education, psychology, neuroscience and cognitive science communities. Below you’ll find a TEDx talk where some of the results are shown.
